A call to action! For festival attendies of Juneteenth Ohio to move your dollars to businesses and organizations or foundations that support your rich cultural heritage! For the past 22 years we have been calling out to every major business in the Central Ohio area to come build with us a historical legacy to leave our future children, youth and families. Each year our call appears to rest on deaf ears to many of the well known corporations who are ignoring our call and ciphering daily hard earned money out of the community. Never putting anything back of substance, that improves the quality of life for our youth and families.
The time is now, for us to put an end to this method o ftaking advantage of our economic power! The only way for us to sustain African American Celebrations, interest and heritage will be to stop doing business with those who do not reinvest in your children, youth and families! These businesses you see on this page and website along with our program booklet are the ones we should first choose to purchase services, products or donate our time and resources. Those you don't see, don't spend! Find other means to consume, or just save that money! Unity in economics will be our first victory that will produce a better future.
